O’s Notes: Bobby puts his voice in action as a true instrument, singing notes without words, bebop vocalese by one of the masters. It’s an evening of excitement that fills the air whenever McFerrin performs. He gets help from a strong band which includes Chick Corea on keyboards, Cyro Baptista (percussion) and drummer Omar Hakim. Our favorite is “Ziggurat”.
