O’s Notes: Every so often, a young vocalist comes on board that exudes confidence, has skills and passion. Eugenie Jones is of that ilk with great DNA. Dad directed the choir and mom sang soprano leads. Eugenie composes her own tunes, arranges a few classics and enlists the support of a band that accentuates her game. Bill Anschell (p), Clipper Anderson (b), Mark Ivester (d) and Michael Powers (g) are all Seattle based, as is Jones. Black Lace Blue Tears is her debut and she is off to a fine start!
