O’s Notes: Herb is a seasoned vibraphonist that has assembled a fine group of musicians to create Blues Vibes. Cedar Walton (p), holds things together especially on our favorite track of the session “People Make The World Go Round”. There is also nice work on guitar from Keb ‘Mo’ on “Delilah”, by Chris Amberger (b) & Graham Bruce (t) on “I’m Getting Sentimental Over You”. We also liked Herb singing the blues on the “The Comeback” which includes a nice intro from Patrick Flynn (g).
