O’s Notes: Guitarist Kyle Asche leads an organ trio featuring Melvin Rhyne on the B3 with drummer George Fludas. The program is a combination of standards and originals by Kyle and Melvin. We liked the bossa nova of “Gentle Rain”, the cool energy on “Nite Vidual” and Kyle’s rich warm melody on “I Thought About You”. Asche and Rhyme touch a variety of styles and tempos and delivers on all fronts.
