O’s Notes: Piltzecker started as a trumpet major in college but found his true love on the vibraphone and his professional career is rooted there! Ted’s work on vibes imparts a festive Latin tone to this session with elements of India, India and Africa all blended into the music. That makes“Brindica a diverse set of original music. We loved the Calypso beats on “For Supuesto”. Taylor Burgess adds deep warm vocals to “What Happens to a Dream Deferred?” We also enjoyed the pats, taps and scats on “Brandi”, our favorite in a strong session.
