O’s Notes: This is a live concert recorded at Cal State Fresno in May 1999 featuring The Peter Leitch Quartet. Leitch plays guitar with David Williams on bass, the late pianist John Hicks and drummer Billy Higgins. They swing through four classics and one original each from Leitch and Hicks. The pace varies but the groove is constantly glowing. The songs are lengthy concert arrangements with ample time for well-developed solos. Peter has the right team and an appreciative audience cheering them on!
