O’s Notes: The Maniacal 4 is a trombone quartet that was born at the University of North Texas. Nick Laufer, Carl Lundgren, Matt Jefferson and Alex Dubrovnik all play tenor trombone with Alex also playing electric trombone and Matt adding bass trombone. They have a solid rhythm section with them for Carry On, a collection of classic pop tunes from the late 1900s. “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Kashmir” and “Hold the Line” are among the best in his trombone lovers dream.
