O’s Notes: Catch & Keep is the debut recording from NYC-based vocalist Karen Mack. She has a jazzy style that is rooted in folk and pop genres. She’s backed by a band led by producer, arranger Peter Eldridge (p), with Jessie Lewis (g), Matt Aronoff (b), Jared Schonig (d), and Elliot Roth (p, vox). They perform a dozen selections that lean towards popular music. We liked “I Wanna Get Married”, “From Now On”, “Hurry Up And Wait”, and “It’s Hard To Say Goodbye” with guest artist Elliot Roth.
