O’s Notes: The overall feel of Cateret is Latin fusion. There’s a light samba beat that is pervasive throughout. The core band members are Jorjão Carvalho (b), Ricardo Costa (d & percussion), Paulo Guimarães (flute) and Angelo on guitar. “Dona Maria”, “Vera’s Frevo” and “Ligerinho” have blue harmonized vocals from Angelo while Marcia Marie sings “Delirios do Mar Nelson Angelo”.
