O’s Notes: It’s 2026 and we’re still feeling the impact of the pandemic. Circles in A Yellow Room is yet another recording created in 2019 and refined during the pandemic yet not released until 2025. It is a reflective work by Mike Freeman (vibes, marimba, perc) with Guido Gonzalez (t), Jim Gailloreto (t-sax, b-cl), Reuben Rodriguez (b), Robert Quintero (congas, bongos, perc), and Joel Mateo (d).
