O’s Notes: Guitarist Peter White is back with another cool set of contemporary jazz tunes. The opener “Coast Road Drive” sets the stage with it’s funky club backbeats. The groove is mildly funky with a touch of Latin flavor. There is variety but all within the mood of Confidential. Chris Botti joins Peter with a muted trumpet melody on “Stormfront”, and Christopher Cross sings “She’s In Love”. The music flows nicely all the way through.
