O’s Notes: This is a very talented duo, Mehmari on piano and de Holanda on mandolin. They have great respect for each other as musicians and as friends. They play tag on “News” at blazing speed then relaxing the pace before racing to a close. This is just one of eleven beautiful songs. They seem to get energized by each other. This leads to some splendid exchanges that translate the energy to the audience. Among the best are “Underage” and “With Serjao”.
