O’s Notes: Contemporary jazz pianist David Benoit has given smooth jazz fans many great memorable tunes. For Conversation he touches a variety of elements including a remake of “Kel’s Song Redux”, the cinematic “Sunrise on Mansion Row” and the bouncy “You’re Amazing”. Our favorite was the swinging “Let’s Get Ready” as Benoit shows he still has his chops.
