O’s Notes: Drummer, percussionist and producer Paa Kow surrounds himself with a wealth of funky musicians to perform thirteen new tunes on Cookpot. There’s a retro funky groove that is established on the opener “The Way I Feel”. From there they morph into the festive Caribbean “Meetu Ehum”. The latter is the dominant theme in a really good set. We were bobbing our heads and ready to dance non-stop!
