O’s Notes: The flute is a perfect instrument for gentle breezy melodies and Ross does a great job incorporating it into Cut the Cord. He gives us four relaxing selections starting with “Lovestuck” then “Nightfalls”, a romantic ballad including Theo’s vocals. They get a little funky on “Without You”, a mid tempo track before wrapping it up with the peaceful “Could Be”. Hopefully this is a small sample of what we can expect from Ross in the future because he has a good groove composing, arranging, producing and performing.
