O’s Notes: David sings and plays sax. He has a laid back contemporary jazz sound with a soul bent. At times he reminded us of Terrence Trent D’Arby especially singing Maxwell’s “Symptom Unknown”. But David has his own groove coming at yah from different angles but always with rounded edges. The beats are cool, mellow funk that is easily accessible by a wide audience. He’ll be around for a while if he continues to bring it like this. We kept this one in the rotation for a while!
