O’s Notes: Veteran pianist Tom Schuman from Spyro Gyra has been making us smile for a long time. He ventures out on his own here with an excellent solo effort. Each of the tracks is in some way dedicated to his wife, Yvonne. His love spills over into the songs, not just ballads but across the contemporary jazz spectrum including the funky “Everybody Knows” and the soulful ballad “All This Love”.
