O’s Notes: From the opener, “Put It Where You Want It”, it’s clear that Larry still has that guitar magic! His liquid melodies flow across jazzy, R&B rhythms to provide pure listening pleasure. He gets help from Paulinho Da Costa (percussion) and Ricky Peterson (keyboards). as well as guest artist Kirk Whalum (s) on “Deep Into It” and “Roll With It”. There are cool new songs like “It’s A Groove Thang” & “Like Butta'”, and a nice cover of “I Can’t Tell You Why” with Shai singing to keep it fresh. It’s a winner!
