O’s Notes: This CD is made in the spirit of the legendary trumpeter Nat Adderley and we can attest to feeling that spirit less than 60 seconds into the first cut, “Work Song”. Scott plays trombone and arranges all of the tracks on this set. He is joined by Vincent Herring (alto sax), Marvin Stamm (t), Howard Johnson (tuba), Dave Pietro (sax) and Karolina Strassmayer (sax) to name a few of the ingredients in this successful mix. Other hits are “Hummin’” and “Jive Samba”.
