O’s Notes: The title says it all for this collection of thirteen pop, blues songs. They sing covers of Bob Dylan and Eddie Hinton tunes along with a couple of originals. Bill King (p, vocals) leads the charge with Shakura S’Aida (vocals) and a strong band including guitarist Neil Chapman. To young listeners, this is just another collection of good tunes but to a lot of baby boomers, these tunes were monuments of the times when we were rebelling against war. These artists still believe that living free and skipping war is the best option. We agree but how can we get that point across with politicians?
