O’s Notes: Guitarist Doc Powell is back with another relaxing contemporary jazz album. It is smooth and mellow starting with the opener featuring Doc scatting and guest Bobby Lyle on piano. Kirk Whalum (sax) and Brian Culbertson also make guest appearances. Our favorites were “Hey” and “It’s Too Late” featuring background vocals by Faith Anderson. Yes, it is a winner!
