O’s Notes: Drummer Keefe Marzell teams up with Marcus Abernathy (keyboards), Terome “T-Bone” Hannon (b) and Rocky Henton (g) to bring us this smooth jazz session. We heard a familiar voice on sax that reminded us of the 1980s at Axle’s in Detroit. Yes, Norma Jean Bell is guest artist on two tracks most notable “Through The Night” and she still has her magic. “Now & Forever”, “Love Thinking of You” with Lenny Price (sax), the title track and the hip-hop beats of “New Jazz Swing” are surely radio worthy as Marzell sparks a set that resonates.
