O’s Notes: Fingerprints is Claud Hardrick (sax), Tim Jones (vocals), Frederick A. Michelson (b) and Kennan Wylie (d). They share the stage with many others including Shelley Carol (fl, sax) on “Tell me A Bedtime Story” and “Lonesome Rhodes”, Bernard Wright (keys, synth bass) on the funky bass laden “Dream Life” and guitarists Todd Parsnow and Robert Lacroix on several selections. Jones adds soulful vocals on two tracks notably “I am a Man”. This is a very good smooth jazz CD with both quiet storm and danceable beats.
