O’s Notes: Lebanese-Canadian drummer/composer, Sanah Kadoura now lives in New York where she released her sophomore album Duality. She leads a band with Stacy Dillard (s-sax), Rachel Therrien (flugelhorn, t), Virginia MacDonald (cl), Michael King (keyboards), and Jonathan Michel (b). They swing hard on “Dijon‘dre’s Deal”, “Hidden Realities” and “The Gemini’s”. We also enjoyed “Interlude * Old Friends” and our favorite, “Rise” with vocals from Joanna Majoko.
