O’s Notes: Michael and Ted take on an unusual challenge in recording an album featuring clarinet and trumpet. To be fair Ted plays flugelhorn, bugle and cornet as well but this is an unusual pairing no matter how you slice it. They play original music that is indeed fresh. It is more on the free jazz side though they generally maintain a call and response structure. If you can get into their zone, you may enjoy this creation from two very talented musicians.
