O’s Notes: This is the second take of Dynasty, a union of sisters Tia Fuller (sax) and Shamie Fuller-Royston (p). Their interplay is exceptional and fully complimentary. They speak a common musical language that spills into the audience with lots of warmth and intimacy. We liked the swinging “Beatrice “, “Momma Said” & “In This Quiet Place” both with vocals from Tia, and their take on Freddie Hubbard’s “Dear John”.
