O’s Notes: These are refined Brazilian rhythms with Hendrick handling melodies on harmonica, vibes and marimba. Nilson anchors the beat on bass but also impresses us on numerous passages like the intro to “Baden”. Guest appearances by Maucha Adnet (v) and Dodo Moroni (p) add variety. Overall the music has an upbeat pace that leaves you refreshed.
