O’s Notes: Bassist Ron Carter partners up with Rosa Passos, a woman with Latin spirit and soft warm vocals. Together they bring us a nice dose of bossa nova with all of the magic associated with the sounds of Brazil. The smooth whispy sounds from the tenor sax of Billy Drewes and relaxed strumming from Lula on guitar make it sizzle. Chesky Records once again gives us a supreme recording adding to the enjoyment. This session feels good!
