O’s Notes: This is a hot trio: Kyle Koehler on the Hammond B3, guitarist Dave Stryker and Sylvia Cuenca playing drums. They play very well together, as if they’ve been united for decades, a sign of fine musicianship. The program is sixties cool jazz at it’s best featuring some new and some older tunes, arranged with a new groove. You’ll be hard pressed not to engage on tracks like “Minor League” one of many smokers.
