O’s Notes: Bassist Clark Sommers arranged and produced all the music on Feast Ephemera. The music is all original and Clark invites several artists that he’s performed with in the past. Chris Madsen (t-sax), John Wojciechowski (fl, a-sax), and Geof Bradfield (b-cl, s-sax, t-sax) are a few of the featured soloists. The brass-laden ensemble is at times symphonic. “The Rider”, “Follow The Mystery”, and “Old Ideal” are a few of the best selections.
