O’s Notes: Georg Breinschmid was a prominent bassist in the Vienna Art Orchestra and today breaks barriers across many genres. Fire is an entertaining (humorous) collection of gypsy, polka and jazz tunes. The band is a quartet and the lyrics include grunts, shouts, and some great harmony. While we didn’t understand the German commentary between the songs, we were patting our feet and enjoying the music. Highlights are “Suite 7”, “Rodeo” and “Nóta/Csárdás”.
