O’s Notes: Composer, arranger, bassist Frank Wagner leads a trio with pianist Marco Di Gennaro and David Meade on drums and percussion. They engage in spirited interplay on the opening title track before slowing the pace on “Mirror” a showcase for Wagner’s melodic prowess along with “Memory”. We also enjoyed the bouncy “Solution” and “Switch Partners”.“Floating Holiday is a fine encounter that showcases the entire band across a wide range of tempos.
