O’s Notes: Jazz trumpet player Eddie Henderson has a wealth of experience and puts it to good use with a diversified program on For All We Know. His band includes Doug Weiss (b), Billy Drummond (d) and John Scofield (g). Eddie is spirited on “Sand Storm”, a bop original and plays with warm tone on the title track. We felt Scofield’s fusion presence on “Cantaloupe Island”, “Missing Miles” and also on “By Myself”. Henderson does well sharing the stage while also asserting himself giving the session color and depth.
