O’s Notes: Everette assembles a nice set of R&B laced tunes, both ballads and upbeat songs. Skip past the electronic smooth cuts to the real music with Ricky Peterson (p), Tony Maiden (g), Li’l John (d) and George Duke (p) to name a few. Ah yes, now we’re there, like on “Just Can’t Let Go” as well as on the final two covers of Wonder and Sample hits. There’s a lot to like!
