O’s Notes: Corey plays guitar, banjo and sings the blues with a gruff penetrating tone. His trying stories are current but his style is classic Mississippi Blues. Harris goes solo for some selections, adds harmonica from Hook Herrera and includes full accompaniment on a couple of tunes. The central element is the stories, inspired by Corey’s vast experience including a year abroad in Cameron. Fulton is a community near Richmond, VA where captives from African were enslaved in America. This marriage of old and new puts Fulton Blues in the heart of a country blues revival.
