O’s Notes: Garry plays guitar and wrote most of the eleven songs on Goin Places. The exceptions are two covers: “Don’t Ask My Neighbor” with guest artist Kirk Whalum on sax and “Ain’t No Sunshine” both of which have Garry’s footprints. Other highlights are “Is It Deep Enough” and “Rush Hour”. The music has a bubbly contemporary jazzy sound that is inviting.
