O’s Notes: Trumpeter Ted Chubb leads a six-piece band through eight swinging selections. He composed half of them and added several standards to the mix. He breathes a bit of passion into “My Ideal”. Our favorites are “Everywhere I Go” and “Adam’s Apple”, a showcase for the band, especially Seth Johnson (g), Bruce Williams (sax), Jerome Jennings (d) and Chubb.
