O’s Notes: Grey Moon is piano drama. It is intense, subtle, and provocative. The sound comes from two pianos manned by maestros Ran Blake and Frank Carlberg. They play in unified concert; respectfully complimenting each other’s every move. We enjoyed their fresh takes on classics like “Tea For Two”, “Take the A Train” and “Round Midnight”. It is good music for background or decisive, focused listening.
