O’s Notes: This is a cool, blues fusion set with Rick Petrone on bass, Joe Corsello on drums and leader, guitarist Richie Hart. Dr. Lonnie Smith is a guest artist joining Hart’s well-knit trio on B3. Pete Levin (B3), Jerry Weldon (ts) and Clifton Anderson (tb) also add their touches on the session. The mood is upbeat and Hart’s guitar bites are liquid honey, sweet, smooth and flowing on songs like “Recorda Me”. “East Coast Blues” and “Mellow Mood” also flow well, several strong songs in a very good set.
