O’s Notes: This is a Holiday sampler features the recording artists of NuGroove Records. They put together a smooth R&B jazzy takes on the classics. A few of the highlights: Darren Rahn does a funky version of “Angels We Have Heard On High”; Dénaté puts a bit of hip-hop on “Christmas Bells Medley”; and Steve Oliver plays Spanish guitar for “Carol of the Bells”.
