O’s Notes: Christiana is not just another pretty face with a sax attached. She starts out with some seriously funky beats and matches them with large doses of sax that takes you into the best of the 1960s-70s cool, funk and soul music. Check out “Funky F¾tter” to get the gist of what we’re describing. The band is Carsten Dahl (keyboards), K¾v Gliemann (g, electronic keys), Anders Christensen (b), Jesper Riis (t) and Mads Hyhne (tb). Christiana wrote most of the songs for this CD. There are no covers! We hope she comes to America soon. In the mean time pick up her CD.
