O’s Notes: Hot Like Fire“is a rocking party that samples all types of contemporary music, rock, calypso, funk and blues. Mark Mullins, Craig Klein and Greg Hicks all play trombone and contribute vocals to the mix. Bert Cotton (g), Matt Perrine (b, sousaphone) and Alex Joseph Hall (d) anchor the rhythm section. The music is mostly originals by Perrine, Mullins and Klein that gives us a taste of the New Orleans party spirit.
