O’s Notes: BWB is a smooth jazz powerhouse with trumpeter Rick Braun, Kirk Whalum on sax and guitarist Norman Brown. It has been 11 years since their first collaboration Groovin’. They live up to their billing on Human Nature, their second release and a tribute to the late Michael Jackson. Look for them on tour across the country this summer! Sheléa adds vocals on the title track but otherwise these are instrumental versions of some of Jackson’s best. It is an excellent canvas for the headliners to expound upon. Yes, it works!
