O’s Notes: Drummer and composer Jeremy Warren is blessed to have survived Steven Johnson’s Syndrome, a severe skin disorder.“I Can Do All Things“(through Christ who strengthens me) is inspired by his life journey thus far leading to this debut. The beats are complex and well integrated into the fabric of the songs, a collection that spans Pop, R&B, hip-hop, fusion, spiritual and straight ahead jazz. Warren’s wife, Dermel, sings, and scats on many selections notably “No Words” with Gloria Ryann and “Lost Friends” while Leon Martin adds rap on “Livin’ Way Up”. This album has broad appeal for African American Family Reunions of similar gatherings that include different generations.
