O’s Notes: Guitarist Doug MacDonald plays well in many configurations from solo to big band. I’ll See You In My Dreams features a seasoned quartet with pianist Tamir Handelman, bassist John Clayton and Jeff Hamilton on drums. We liked the swinging vibe on “Easy To Love” with each of the band members being showcased. However, MacDonald generally takes the lead and does it with poise as on “‘Tis Autumn”, “New Mark” and the title track.
