O’s Notes: Utopia is a duo featuring Japanese musicians, guitarist Yuto Kanazawa and saxophonist Yuto Mitomi. They are based in New York and perform eight songs mostly covers of pop and jazz standards along with their original title track. Audio quality is excellent. Highlights are “Blackbird”, “Doralice”, “I Want You Back” and “Isn’t She Lovely”. These are jazzy instrumental arrangements that will invite new listeners into the genre.
