O’s Notes: Tom plays a smooth jazz sax and takes us on a joyful ride for eleven songs. They get funky on “Good to Go”, put a little Caribbean flare in “Escape” and add several cool pop covers including “Haven’t You Heard” and “Peg”. The second half features more smooth tracks like “1 a.m.” and “Revelation Song” but also includes “Evening Drive” with Tim Bowman’s sweet guitar solo. There are several memorable tunes on this fine session.
