O’s Notes: The first two tracks are smooth sax followed by the lively funky beat of “Soul Food” courtesy of John Roberts playing real drums! Then Marion moves into a few cool grooves accented by guest artists Ray Obiedo on “Show Me, Show Me” and Will Downing on “Don’t Wanna Know”. “South Chicago” has a funky club beat to be followed by more smooth then slower funky numbers. Overall the theme is solid with a few winners that make the CD.
