O’s Notes: Gaea plays flute and opens “Cava ‘Dell’Isola” with guitarist Jordan Samuels before she switches to piano, with bassist John Witalo, percussionist Carlos Cara and drummer Greg Wyser-Pratte imparting a Latin groove. They play a variety of jazz, ballads and bossa nova on In Your Own Sweet Way, her latest release. We enjoyed her fresh arrangement of “It Had To Be You”, and the relaxing “Forio Rain”.
