O’s Notes: Spin Marvel are a quartet featuring drummer Martin France, Terje Evensen (live electronics), bassist Tim Harries and Nils Petter Molvaer on trumpet. They open with the pulsating beats of “Canonical” moving to a somewhat relaxed “Tuesday’s Blues” before the wrenching “Two Hill Town”. The theme continues in a rather intriguing presentation. The music provides a futuristic, galactic experience that could put you in a swirl, justifying the name of the band!
